Assembly Instructions for Ryobi Table Saw Model BTS10S

The Ryobi BTS10S is a table saw equipped with a 10-inch saw blade. It is a table saw that mounts to the top of a workbench, rather than a freestanding contractor's table saw. Therefore, the assembly of the table saw is straightforward and only takes a few minutes to complete, since you do not have to construct and attach table sides to the saw itself. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Place the housing of the table saw on the workbench where you plan to use it. Park each of the four mounting hoses on the base of the saw onto the workbench. Drill 3/8-inch holes through the workbench and secure the table to the bench with 3/8-inch screws, lock washers and nuts. Use a wrench to tighten the bolts in place.

    2

Locate the height-adjustment wheel on the front of the saw. Place the machine screw provided with the saw though the handle. Place the handle over the hole in the face of the wheel and thread the lock nut onto the screw. Hold the lock nut in place with a wrench and tighten the screw to secure the handle to the wheel.

    3

Lower the saw blade with the height adjustment wheel and then remove the screws that secure the throat plate, or the plate covering the saw blade on the top of the table.

    4

Place the blade guard assembly onto the saw. Load the external lock washer, flat washer, then internal tooth-lock washer onto each of the mounting bolts.

    5

Secure the mounting bolts with a wrench to secure the guard assembly onto the saw housing.
