How to Remove Water Spots From Wooden Tables

How to Remove Water Spots From Wooden Tables

If you spill a drink or place a sweaty drinking glass on your wooden table, you are left with discolored residue that you need to pull out of the furniture. To do this, use something that directly attacks the moisture without causing harm to the furniture piece. The easiest way to do this is to use a mild, absorbent substance that pulls the fluid out of the wooden table and removes the water spots. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    1

Dab a glob of white non-gel toothpaste onto a dry cleaning rag. Use a glob about the size of a peanut for water spots that are about the size of a water ring left behind by a glass.

    2

Rub the toothpaste into the water marks with the cloth. Continue until you remove all of the water spots.

    3

Moisten the edge of another cleaning rag with water and rub over the area to remove excess toothpaste residue.

    4

Dry the area with a clean, dry portion of the soft rag.
